Reviews for The Plaza
We went to plaza last week for my frends birthday, the food was delicious its really good standart of food, service is brilliant and staff seem well trained nice music and atmosphere:)
Booked up in the morning for 10, when we arrived the table was set and the staff very friendly. The food was very average and everything was an extra, my Wife ordered mussels and you had to pay extra fro the bread! The steaks at £16.95 were pretty poor, perfectly edible but for top price I would expect a decent cut of meat not a 1cm thick piece which of course made it very difficult to cook correctly, Everyone had a starter everyone had a main 6 bottles of wine and a few beers and 3 rum and cokes, and 6 puddings came to just short of £440.00 Becks was £3.85 a bottle and 75 pence for a splash! Overall the Restaurent service was good, as I said earlier very friendly but very overpriced for the quality of the food especially the steaks at £16.95 with fries, no veg and a pepper sauce was £2.75, and mushrooms at £3.60 plus tomatoes at £3.60 made a decent plate cost £26.50 Ouch.............................Feel Touristed
Do not bother stopping here! The food is tasteless and over-priced and the staff unattentive.
We had fish and chips... even the vinegar was tastelss (how can that be?), 2 cokes and were charged over £22! £2.15 for a small coke - terrible.
When we complained that the food was tastelss and greasy we were told "that's how people like it".
If you wonder why there is no queue... it's because those in the know don't go!
