Reviews for English's of Brighton

This is my must visit restaurant whenever I'm in Brighton. The Lobster Thermidor is to die for!! It's not cheap here but the seafood and the service are of a high quality.

I was recommended this place by my Granny and she did not let me down!

The location is great fun, on the edge of a lively square with some live music being played and the famous Brighton weather making the scene a most pleasant one.

I had a delicious Sardine starter and then fresh mackerel from their £14.95 set-lunch menu, which had many things that I wanted on it. I could not fault it, nor the glass of house Argentinian Pinot Gris that they recomended. I will be back. The lunch was a great launch spot for a wander around the rather fun North Laine area of Brighton which is a hippy'ish shopping and wandering area adjacent to the Brighton Pavilion.
