Wokmania is on a busy road in town and better to visit during the day for its all you can eat with out being sick buffet. It does offer a fair selection of dishes, ok it cold do more but what do you expect for your £7. It is all you can eat and believe me I have seen some people stuff in the food like it is going out of style. Hey people restrain yourselves a little bit, you are there to fill up but you could come out with a severe tummy cramp if not careful. The unlimited re fill drinks are a nice touch too. The evening menu does cost around double and in my opinion it is not really worth the extra cash. Go at lunch time for best value and go easy on your poor tum.

Ok if you don't want to wait

Do not go to Wokmania expecting the best Chinese food money can buy in Brighton, because you wont get it. The restaurant is an all you can eat, and there is plenty to choose from. It isn’t exactly the tastiest, but novelties such as unlimited drinks and ice creams are good if you’re after something quick (and can't be bothered to wait elsewhere), simple and filling for a group of people in the middle of the day. It is one of those places where you will very likely leave feeling very ill. Wouldn’t head there later in the day, as being on West St is a big negative in the evening.

Wokmania is a chinese buffet restaurant. If you go there for lunch, the price is very reasonable at under £7 a head and all you can eat. Dinner is nearly twice the price so I would avoid in the evenings. It's really good value for money and even has a good vegetarian selection which is rare for buffets. Drinks refills and a nice layout make this a decent cheap lunch if you are hungry enough to eat 5 platefuls. Definitely one to take the family to, as it takes the hassle out of big group meals as you don't have whinging about not knowing what to eat, not having enough, wanting loads more drinks etc. And as far as buffet food goes, it tasted pretty good too!

    Horrid, awful.

This place is a complete waste of money. A few varieties of noodles..maybe 3, a few variations on rice..maybe 3, and 3 different types of chicken wings. Vegetables of the same sort in three different sauces. Chips, boiled potatoes. Service charge for serving yourself. watched as hot food was bought from the kitchens and thrown on top of food that had been there for at least 2 hours. Sun shining in on the cream that had been squirted onto some horrid cakes. Disgusting place. Could not bring myself to have a second helping of anything. Never again.

Delicious oriental food in an all you can eat (in two hours) buffet. The pudding selection is probably most impressive with an enormous chocolate fountain, fruit and marshmallows aswell as fruit salad and a wide range of cakes. The long buffet table provides both vegetarian and meat dishes of high quality. It has a very sophisticated feel with lots of long darkwood tables. However there is humour in it- takeshis castle is played on big tvs. £15 a head is a bit expensive but if you're splashing out and in the mood for some kind of oriental food then this is great, otherwise oo expensive but filling and delicious.
