The Little Buddha is a delightful find. A cute Thai style restaurant that never fails to please. It is faultless in terms of quality and it just makes you want to return to eat there time after time. It is easy enough to find on Dyke road, seven dials.
It is not flash here but it is able to offer a good selection of reasonable well cooked thai food. The portions are well sized and so they do fill you up nicely. The staff here are nice people and make you feel welcome.
Parking in this area is an issue but many parts of brighton are like this and you can always leave the car at home, have a drink and take the bus. Some people are not so keen and have said they did not enjoy the buddha as much as we have, but hey, we like it and will continue to do so.

    Great food

The little buddha restaurant is in dyke road, in the seven dials area of brighton and what a little gem little buddha really is. It was the first time I had tried authentic thai style food and I must say that I was very happy with the service and quality of food. A friend had told me before hand that you could take your own booze, which saves a lot of cash and that you only paid a small fee or corkage to open your bottle to have with your meal. It turned out to be a great meal and I will certainly visit the little buddha very soon, it is so good. Make sure you think about where you can park if coming by car though. The bus would be better or walk in if you are lucky enough to live near by.

    Perfect!

This was actually the first time i have ever had thai, and i'm glad it was the Little Buddha that i visited first.

First off, as will nearly all places in Brighton, don't expect to be able to park nearby! But it is worth a short walk from the car park!

Service was exceptional, it couldn't be faulted. Attentive without being overly so, it just appeared they wanted us to enjoy the meal and have everything we wanted available. Not something i've experienced before!

Food was also fabulous - it couldn't be faulted. A bonus is being able to bring your own wine - it means you can make sure you have the perfect bottle with the perfect meal

The Little Budda is a great place to head to if you like Thai food! The menu is reasonably priced with plenty of variety. Service is excellent and always very friendly. Another great thing is that you can take along your own drink, there is a small corkage charge (about one pound, which is nothing when you take in to account how much you will be saving on typically expensive restaurant drinks). The restaurant itself is up in Seven Dials, so you’ll want to be getting a bus up there as the parking is awful. I would advise making a booking, it is only a little place and every time I’ve been it was packed.

    Little gem!

I love this restaurant. It is small and intimate but always packed - a good sign! Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is just gorgeous. The great thing is that you can BYOB - bring your own bottle - which when eating expensive food like thai is brilliant for keeping the price down. Really good here, I love it. Used to live down the road but sadly have not visited since we moved as it is in seven dials, i.e. NO PARKING ANYWHERE!! it is on the 7 and 27 bus route though which comes through town. It is also walkable from Brighton's main train station if you don't mind walking up hills! It is definitely worth it.
