I stayed at the Hotel Du Vin recently on a business trip. It is situated just off the seafront by Brighton Pier, very central location.
The interior is lovely, in a refurbished old building, done up to very high standards. The theme of wine runs through the hotel (e.g. room names). The rooms themselves are spacious; the bathrooms are well equipped with a huge walk-in shower and separate bath.
Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Breakfast was nice, too. Chose from a wide variety of food from full English to different breads, fruit, cereal etc.
The bar is really cosy with a friendly atmosphere, with a wide selection of drinks available.
