This hotel looks wonderful when you drive past and the downstairs areas almost live up to your expectations but the bedrooms are a bit tired, but this has been the case with other hiltons I have stayed at too, so no change really. This one is 4 star though and you do expect better. If you pay for an overpriced sea view room then some of them are a little better, but the dreary old rear view, or car park side rooms are quite dated and sad. Come on hilton, why dont you update this place and give people what they are paying for, a touch of class. It does some times do the odd night for £99 on the net, but there are other smaller hotels that have nicer rooms for the same money. Plus you still have no where to park your car for free, so add between £25 and £15 a night to your bill.

Really, it shouldn't have 4 stars rating. I don't know if it was only our room, or the fact we didn't choose a room with sea-view, but the room we were in for 3 nights needed some serous maintainance:
The bathroom was groty (new life was coming out from the shower, I thought I would see dinosaurs...), the bed was so old and cricky that we would wake ourselves up just by changing sides in our sleep. Also there was no A/C or any form of ventilation that even when in the great outdoors the temperature was 18oC, the heat in the room would make you sweat!

Of course there was the swimming pool; the shower rooms were equally groty and disgusting. There were human hair and dirty towels thrown on the wet floor everywhere and no cleaner on sight! The pool itself was fun-shaped (not for serious exercising, but I didn't mind that), however it was suspiciously blairy that made you think how clean it was.

I give two starts to the stuff, though; everybody was very nice and smiley.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there on a badget. I am sure if we got the suite it would have been better.
