This is one of the gems of Hanover's pub scene. Friendly and quiet - it's an antidote to chain pubs.

Another example of a real, traditional pub. One of the few left in Brighton. Great atmosphere, split into two bars, one with TV. Friendly and welcoming with great beers (Gales, Fullers and guests). Roasts on Sundays and a really nice garden for the summer.
