    this pub has just got new management as of March 2008, and I spoke to the landlord the other day who said that he was aiming to seriously improve the food. It will still be a bit of a scrum on a Friday night probably, but it's got quite a nice little garden area, so a good bet for a weekend afternoon

    Not a bad pub, but... - remember this is only my opinion. It's a young people's pub and is in the centre of town, which means there's a good chance you'll be saying hello to a burly bouncer if you pop in for a drink in the evening.
