We are a destination food house which seats about 160 but also a super place to call in just for a drink with friends or family. You can even taste the Old Mill beer which is brewed by the North Yorkshire Brewing Company. During the week our clientele is very mixed with many office workers spending their lunch break with us, whereas at weekends we welcome families having a day out.

Awful restaurant,very bossy Manager who would not let us have a drink at the bar before our meal,insisted that we sat at a table! Ordered stuffed mushrooms it arrived with 2 mushrooms closed cup mushrooms at that so hardly big,another of our party had poached pears and prosuitto salad to start and it took all of 2 mouthfulls to eat,pears were tinned! Soup was cold,and mains decidedly average.Desserts were slightly better,cheesecake with summer berries had half a strawberry as the 'berries' misleading to say the least,wont be wasting my money there again
