A friendly atmosphere and a good range of drinks. A nice range of wines by the 175ml bottle.

Warm welcome with great food and drink 3rd October 2008

My partner and I have been to the fox on a number of occasions as it has always been a great place to eat. It is now under new management and I have got to say, it was great before, but I love it more now, there are more variety of alcohol and soft drinks to choose from, especially wine. The food is second to none, they now serve it buffet style and you can go back for more as many times as you like, it is also competitively priced. We went there on a Thursday night and they had an oriental buffet, with a choice of Chinese or Indian meals. I have gone off Chinese food lately as it all seems to taste the same, however, it was well cooked and tasty. My partner had the Indian curry and he said it was tasty and authentic. I have got to take my hat off to the new manager, if I remember rightly, I think his name is Chris, he gave us a really warm welcome and invited us to join the quiz they were having that evening, it was great fun and I would definitely recommend the Fox and Hounds to anyone who wants a great meal and a bit of fun afterwards
