WOW wat can i say other dan wow. it was one of da best places ive stayed it in ages. its like a home away from home.... mandy and geared wer 2 of da nicest people ive ever met. keep it up ye doin a great job. xxx. i am so goin ack nxt year 4 defnate so cant wait to c ye again...its such a frendly place and i felt so much at home wit ye so wel done on having a thriving an very frendly buisness ill def b cumming back 2 ye guys(dats if ye ye will have us)we no ye will. love ye an miss ye alreadyxxxxxxxxxxxxx lots of lv sonia(jeannetts hen nyt galway) keep up da brill work mandy and geard...x x x x x x

if ur lukin 4 sum gud craic dis is d place 2 stay!! its cosy, friendly n d owners gerard and mandy r luvly!! we wer on a hen 14 girls 4m galway, ireland.... theres a cosy feel n d bar its small so u get 2 chat wit every1 n d bar.(hey 2 d scottish!!) :) all n all i will b bak nxt yr 4 def!!! also i want my hen n blackpool!! :)

Stayed here on a hen do and was suprised to say the least when the management accused us of burning the carpet on check out......the lady manager was like a wild animal shouthing and screaming with no reguards to who was listening.......guilty conscience maybe got the better of her???

I have stayed at the tudor rose with my family on 2 occasions both times rooms are clean,ready for you on arrival. Meals are plentiful, any thing you ask they owners will oblige. Evenings in the bar are good fun and a laugh its a home from home.You are made to feel very welcome, value for money, excellent location, look forward to returning next year, kids love it here and we as a family have stayed in many blackpool b&bs. Previous comments BAH RUBBISH.....

I would like to make a comment. As part of a henparty that stayed in the B&B in Feb (one of the cheap lambrini skint not a penny to rub together girls) as the customer service driven Professional owner of this so called bb described us. weird how this gedstar stuck up for the management has only ever made one review on this site and it was for 5 stars for this bb (so make up your own mind who this gedstar is) ( THE OWNER MAYBE!!)
. I hope by the responce from this gedstar shows everyone just how extremely foul mouthed and aggresive this "lady" is. The husband should have kept her on a leash I have to with my dogs!
I myself am a duty manager of a 4 star hotel and if any of my staff spoke to a guest the way she spoke to us they would be fired on the spot and would never work in the hotel industry again. Make up your own mind but a word of advice if you do find your self having to stay in this BB take photos of any damage in the rooms and ask the owners to come to the room so you can point out anything they may try to rip you off for! Remember their are thousands of B&Bs in Blackpool so why risk it. I Would try one of these ------------->

Excellent. I wish I was the owner. But hey ho, its off to work I go.

Now given that you are just a duty manager (receptionist) you must realise that you will always be in the position of being fired. You could always try becoming self-employed and therefore your own boss.

Your suggestion of taking photos is a good one or alternatively you could always speak to the Police.

Or were they lying as well?



Anyway the Pleasure Beech Rocks... Scrap the £5 charge!

Well thats also funny that you seem to know "exactly" what the poilce said.......if you was not the owner they wold not have discussed any details with you would they????
Anyway if they had such a strong case then why did they not follow up thier threats???? Maybe because they knew the burns was already there b4 we arrived!!!!
Taking photos is a must i suppose when owners lie then make false accusations!!!

I have been to the Tudor Rose (Coronation Street) on many occasions and pound for pound it is a great place to stay.

Fun, family friendly and most importantly, it has a modern look and feel to the place. Seriously, its excellent value for money.

I believe part of their longevity and success is purely down to their repeat business. Now in Blackpool that's a rare thing.

Book with confidence.

Stay in a hotel 1st March 2009

For the price we paid - i would rather have stayed in a hotel. we paid £25 per person, for 3 girls to stay in a room with two double beds. For that price we could have stayed at the Hilton!
The rooms are adequate - you can see the tower if you stick your head out of the window. You can have a remote control - if you leave a £10 deposit.
The breakfast was nice and efficient.
The owners - rude and miserable once you have paid!
Whilst in the bar drinking, they are nice and friendly, but once you come to leave and have paid up, then the accusations of vandalism come flying out. It was so bad the police were called, though no charge filed. The woman owner is extremely foul mouthed and aggresive.
So, if you want to stay, make sure you take pictures of the room before you enter it as it may be used as evidence on your departure!

Mmmmm what a very odd review as I know this to be wrong.

Remote controls are obtained by a £10 “refundable” deposit. Many hotels do this as it stops people walking off with them. So nothing new there.

I’m not sure where the “tower view” comes into it… It is the same for every road in the central holiday area (Charnley, Albert, Hull Rd etc). Note you can’t see Tower Bridge from the Ritz Hotel in London. So again, what was the reviewers point!

I also know that the group of women who stayed in the Hotel on a hen night burnt a hole in the carpet with their very own hair straighteners. One women tried to lie her way out of it by saying that all straighteners were the same shape, length, width etc! Needless to say they are not and the photos that the management took proved this to be the case.

When the guests were challenged on their careless behaviour. They became obnoxious and rude (I guess they drunk to much cheap Lambrini which they had brought with them). The management had no choice but other than to report them to the police.

When the ladies left, the Police confirmed they were at fault but alas it was not deemed “criminal” (intentional). They said it was unfortunate but the only way the owners could claim any monies back was through the small-claims court.

Unfortunately the ladies didn’t look like they had a penny to their names. So the Police told them not to waste their time and money.

So as a guest, who had a great time on that particular weekend. I think the above review is written with a sense of embarrassment on their part.

Also, you only pay £20 to the hotel as £5 goes to the booking agent. Again, something the reviewer fails to mention. What does that tell you!

Ha Ha this review is the bigest Bull I have ever read.....it is actually laughable.....how much as the person been paid to write this????? For a start we was in the hotel bar drinking so if the cheap lambrini was flowing it was coming straight from the place itself as no alcohol was taken in the hotel.....mainly because we planned to get there get ready and go!!!!!
Sounds like the man himself wrtting the review seems to know alot about hair straightners......maybe thats because this scam is tried quiet often with the good little hen partys!!!!!
As for obnoxious........they did not come better than the people who ran the hotel being a hotel worker myself I know for a fact that if I spoke to a guest like that I would be fired!!!!!
Did not have a penny to rub together.....ha ha.....if ya was rich yaself why was you staying at a shitty back street bb??? Sounds like ya talking bull mate as while the police was talking to us we was in our room just 4 girls and 2 police so all coversations was done in privcy which is funny as does not match your turn of events....sure you was actually there that nite???
Anyway lets just say if ya a group of young girls wanting to stay there just make sure you check ya rooms on arrival and report all to the owners!!!
