OK place to spend an hour or so. Advise to AVOID the DARTS throwing game near the centre of the pier. Trader was RACIST, shouting out "willy wolly wing wong" at myself and my girlfriend as I walked passed. Not once, but twice. On the way passed, and on the return. With me being of Chinese decent, this was highly offensive and was not appropriate. I thought this was meant to be a family orientated?

We took the kids here when the Illuminations was on late last year and thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday afternoon. The kids had a disco, kareoke and prizes from the DJ. We just sat there and enjoyed the atmosphere with the other parents while the kids were entertained. Then I was asked to partake in a tarzan competition, I won and got 4 free tickets to watch the Sooty Show at North Pier. Although the drinks can be a little pricey it was a good day out for the family. Snacks available in the bar, with hotdogs, crisps and chocolate. Also a few arcade machines for the kids.
