I have been coming into Cookies for over 2 years on a weekly basis. The staff are friendly, the food is freshly produced. Cleanliness I have found to be excelent and one of the main reason why we use Cookies.
Would recommend to anybody in the Blackpool area. The cream cakes are a must.

I went to Cookies the other day to buy some breakfast, I ordered crumpets. As the woman who I believe to be the owner or manager went to make my food, I noticed she was handling raw meat along with eggs, bread and my food without changing her glooves. I didn't like the thought of eating crumpets dripping in raw bacon juice so I symply asked if she could make some more after changing her glooves. Well she wasn't happy, she threw the food striaght in the bin, turned round and proceeded to get angry and rant in Polish to her colligue about me. I was disgusted at the service especially since I was a regular and the poor hygine shocks me. I would strongly advise not eating from Cookies unless what you're after is a side of food poisoning!!

If you go to this cafe expecting proper food and cheap and cheerful then avoid. It is more of a coffee bar and doesn't have proper food as it were, mainly cakes and, well, cookies. The service is as you would expect but nothing special, the waitresses are friendly enough but don't have that spark. The coffee is good and you get a nice big cup a bit cheaper than you would at cafe nero or somewhere like that and the quality isn't too far off either. It can be quite expensive for just a brew and a cake though pleasant to sit outside in the summer at their outdoor tables. Go if you want to sit outside and have a better quality brew but go elsewhere if you are looking for proper food and price is an issue.
