Reviews for Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a wonderful day out for all the family. Entry to the rides is paid for either with tickets or a wristband bought from the many kiosks around the park.

The park has a number of thrill seeker rides that will make you want to go back for more. Not for the faint hearted the rides include the 'Pepsi Max', the tallest rollercoaster in Europe, Bling that takes you 100 feet in the air to the latest ride 'Infusion', a rollercoaster that loops the loop and travels over water.

There are thirteen thrill rides altogether, but my particular favourite is the Wild Mouse. This is one of the original rollercoasters which throws you about on bends and can make you feel you have left your stomach at the start.

The Pleasure Beach also caters for children with 'Beavers Creek', were children and adults alike can be entertained.
The park has plenty of facilities to eat on site but these can be more expensive than local cafes on the promenade. Great day out for all the family

The Pleasure Beach has been voted the top UK FREE Attraction on many occasion so why now have they started charging to walk round it? If you take your granny or grandad who just want a look round and hold the pram while you go on the rides they also have to pay! The rides are excellent, the food is of the usual theme park quality and slightly overpriced, the wristbands provide good value for money as you can ride all day for free after paying the one off fee. Worth a visit, but not for people who dont want to go on the rides.

blackpool is a wonderful place for the family. i should be visiting there real shortly when the light show comes across next. its got an amazing night life. s o many people go. its like the only place to go in england. if you love your british beaches. then this is the place to go. you cant get no betta then the highest roller coater 'the pepsi max' its one sickening ride. itz absolutely mind blowing. you can see eveything from the highest peak. and if you look out to the sea u may even see a few ships sailing past. all in all. the place is awesome. itz ashame about the weather though. its alwayz dull.

the pleasure beach is a wrist band entry theme park now. gone are the days when you could take the family in just to wander round and soak up the atmosphere and just go on a few rides. you all have to have a wristband to get in now so go early to make the most of it as its not cheap for all the family. we all know there are the great well know rides, the big one and the revoluion but the kids area is great to, the mini dipper and the tea cup are favourites with my grandkids. the mono rail is still a really great way to kick the day off as it gives you a great birds eye view of the park.

The themepark is generally kept very clean & tidy with a great variety of rides and plenty of places for food/drink.
I would strongly recommend 'Valhalla' which is a great water ride, one minute your blissfully travelling through a hot sauna then dropping backwards into the freezing water, fantastic ride though make sure you take a coat.
Other great rides include 'Infusion' which is very fast & fun though over a bit quick. Iron Bru is extremely fun though can make you feel a little sick.
Personally i found 'Pepsi Max' an awful ride.
It was a long wait for a ride which is extremely rough and makes you feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.
Getting into the park can also be fairly expensive but it was a very enjoyable time with a mix of rides for all ages.
