Unfortunately I had a horribe experience at this restaurant and will never eat there again.

The food was really greasy and bland. I had a seafood pasta that had no seafood in it and the staff were non-existant to the extent that it took almost 3 hours to get a 2 course meal.

I say 2 courses because the special 2 person dessert was out of stock. I was told they rarely had it so I pointed out that it was displayed all over the restuarant and they should perhaps remove it if it kept causing a problem.

This is the only restaurant that I have ever complained about and their Head Office gave us vouchers for the restaurant - No way would I go back again !

A popular choice in the city centre - decent food and you know what you'll be getting. Good quality italian dishes, the breaded melted cheese starter is fantastic, and the speck and rocket pizza is very tasty. The food is always the same and I've never had a problem with cold food or etc.

Service friendly and attentive, although the last time I was there the waiter was overly pushy with our group. The atmosphere is relaxed - I've been here on a number of different occasions (romantic dinner for two, group of friends, large family group) and had a great time with all.

A note - Bella Italia do a generous student discount of 20%, which is not very well publicised. You can also get tesco clubcard vouchers for here, for anyone wanting a cheap meal out!

Gorgeous tomato, mozarella & basil starter and very good food. Easy to get to, nice atmosphere and service.
