Great Latin atmosphere. Strange selection on menu

I've been to this restaurant several times now with my girlfriend and once in a large group. I thoroughly recommend it.

The restaurant consists of a dining and bar area, located on the 2nd floor of The Arcadian plaza. Some of the bar tables are located outside on a small veranda which offers great views of the Arcadian but can get a bit chilly during the evening. Personally though I always prefer the dining area which has seating for I'd estimate around 100 people in a range of table types and sizes.

The atmosphere is great; with Latin American music always playing and decor to suit you can really get the Latin feel (fortunately without the smell). The service is also very good and the bathrooms clean and modern.

The only slight complaint I have about the place from my last visit is the menu. Keep in mind though that this does apparently change every few months so it may be completely different now. I do however remember myself wondering why there was no chicken Enchiladas, despite Duck and Spinach versions both being available. This is the crux of the problem; they do just about every single type of Latin dish you can imagine: Fajita's, Enchiladas, Moqueca etc. but they only do two or three versions of each and a few of these are quite odd combinations. Maybe their just being authentic and I can't complain too much as I have always found something I have absolutely loved every time I've gone.

The real vote winner about this place for me though is its location!
Being right in the middle of the Arcadian entertainment centre offers many great bars and even the Birmingham Hippodrome (a quality theatre) to visit after your meal is finished. If you want something slightly different to your usual curry house or steak joint then I'd definatly recommend Las Iguanas.
