La Tasca are a chain of authentic Spanish restaurants with a careful blend of everything that is good about Spain - warm decor, authentic cuisine and friendly hospitality. All this combines to create a great atmosphere, where you can relax and eat or drink as much as you like, from a selection of Tapas dishes to an authentic Paella. They also serve a selection of Spanish wines, sherry, beers and Sangria. This branch warmly welcomes children.

Reviews for La Tasca

Myself and my partner went, it was very quiet but it was a Wednesday afternoon.
The waitress explained what Tapas was and left us the menu.
We ordered and didn't have to wait long for the food, which was absolutely beautiful.
We took advantage of their 2 for £10 offer. 5 tapas dishes for £10.
Between us we had fried Calamari, Meatballs in tomato sauce, Chorizo in red wine sauce, lightly marinated chicken wings, battered white fish strips, Patatas Bravas with cheese.
And for pudding we had Churro with fresh fruit and chocolate fondue.
A nice authentic Spanish Tapas bar with efficient polite staff.
Highly Recommended.

I’m a regular visitor to La Tasca as I love the food and I think it’s really good value for money. The restaurant is tucked just off Broad Street and gets very busy at weekends – beware as the service does suffer, and you will often have to wait some time to get your drinks or your bill. It’s not really the place to go for a romantic meal for two as the atmosphere is quite loud and buzzy. The food is very nice with plenty of choice – we always stick to the tapas but the paella for 2 looks amazing. If you’re not familiar with tapas there’s a sampler menu, and if you are, as much tapas as you can eat for a tenner is available Sunday – Tuesday.
