I couldn't agree more with the other disappointed customer. I visited Zorbas in Olton and loved it - this was awful. No entertainment, tasteless food, no choice of menu, overpriced, and they never even offered us our desserts or coffees which were included in the price. And a very drunk bar man as well. Called the next day at which point the manager told me I was wrong - the entertainment didn't come because it was raining (!). He put the phone down on me, and when I called back saying...

He put the phone down on me, and when I called back saying talk to me now or I will come into the restaurant, he threatened to have me arrested!!! I have never been spoken to so rudely in my entire life. Don't go!

We chose Zorba's on the recommendation of a friend who goes there regularly and we weren't dissapointed. The restaurant is vast but somehow still remains cosy. Anyone who has been to Greece will feel like they are back in a taverna.

Every evening they play live music and we even got serenaded! Go on the weekend and you'll often get a gentleman selling red roses too- great if you're there for a romantic dinner for two!

The restaurant was almost empty when we went which was on a monday evening and the owner came over and gave us a shot of ouzo each on the house, which he lit just like they do in Greece.

The lamb kleftiko is a dish I would recommend to anyone going there. The lamb just falls off the bone it is so tender.

Finish with a sundae and it will arrive with a sparkler, a great photo worthy finish. It reminded me of my honeymoon in Greece but it was a heck of a less expensive way to bring back memories than visiting Greece itself!

We went to Zorba's Greek Restaurant for a work's Christmas party. As with most restaurants, the price of the set meal was a tad on the dearer side, and boy, was it jam-packed! However, it was certainly worth the money. It's a very sociable restaurant in the way the tables are positioned and once you have finished your meal and had a few drinks, you will probably find yourself chatting to people on other tables as well as your own. The food itself is good, but on its own would not make the night. The live music livens the place up though, and later in the night (very much later) there are Belly Dancers performing and encouraging customers to join in. Be prepared to get up for a jig around the restaurant (can-can style), through the kitchen and outside!
A good place for a proper night out, but I think more suited for groups than couples.

Have been here lots for special occassions. Its wonderful, perfect for Hen Parties and larger groups in my opinion. Have never been in a small group, but there have always been 2's and 4's when I have been. Its very lively and the staff really seem to enjoy it! The food is always of a good standard. Be prepared to do the dance in a row where you kick your legs to the side and have been outside a few times doing this to! The waiters lead you around and drag you up if you dont get up - dont worry about safety with handbags though each time someone has stayed on the table! I would class it as the lower end of expensive but on the whole for a night out it is excellent

After friends' recommendations, reserved a table last Saturday for family and friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed..... excellent food and excellent, friendly, informative service. Will return!

the best place in west midlands for a night out.
We went for a surpirse birthday party and had a really enjoyable evening.(there were lots of other partys-likes of hen nights and diferent celebrations)
The staff were a pleasure, and the food delightful. Definitely recommend Zorbas for any occassion - just remember to book as it gets very busy!

Have been here before about a year ago and had a good experience, but the management has changed recently...

We visited on a Friday night to discover a freezing cold restaurant, none of the web advertised music and dancing, and an overpriced menu consisting largely of obviously microwaved food.

One of the waiters actually told us the new manager was trying to save money! Well we saved money - we refused to pay the bill!

Avoid at all costs.
