As chippies go this one ain't bad. It is conveniently located near the Lickies so if you're out for a walk it is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. There is never much of a wait to get served and the food is always fresh and hot. You can see it all being cooked and prepared in front of you too which I always think is an added bonus. You know then that it has been cooked and prepared hygenically.

The owner is a right hoot and obviously cares about his customers. He especially is over genorous with his portion sizes and he soon recognises a regular. Whilst you wait you'll often hear him singing at the top of his voice in the back or he will come out and crack a joke.

It's worth going to Rednal fish bar not just for the batter but for the banter too!
