Good for drunken nights in the pub...
The White Swan is a great little Irish pub, and fantastic for a relaxed and cosy drink. There are two rooms, one main room with a TV screen (and the regulars), then a smaller room with a juke box. Have spent many an evening/night here feeding my pounds into the juke box, which has a good mix of Irish, rock and classic pop records to keep anyone happy!
The pub is not overly expensive, with very friendly staff and lovely comfy décor. It is always packed on St Patrick's Day so arrive early if you want a seat - but the great atmosphere makes it well worth a visit come March 17th!
In Digbeth, so a bit of a walk from the centre, but worth it if you want a place to get happily drunk in peace...
