Reviews for Bar Risa

bar risa is a fantastic place to go if your out for big night. It's usually loud, and lively with a big atmosphere. The great things about it are that there is a good choice of rooms, with music often varying throughout the rooms. Most of the crowd are young, students types who are looking for a good time, so you don't really get too much trouble.Ive never seen any here anyway. The prices as with most places aren't' cheap, but where is? There is a good range of drinks and the bar staff are friendly. Overall, I would recommend bar risa, but it is not for everyone!

Everytime i go to Risa, i have a brilliant night.
The student night, every Wednesday- 'I love Risa' is great fun. The crowd is lively and out for a good time. With the choice of up to 5 different rooms (dependant upon how busy it is), you can't get bored. They play everything from drum and bass, to dance, to rock, to indie, to cheese, to rnb!
There are also plenty of seating areas for those who want a rest and decent sized dance floors in every room.
With drinks offers such as £2 for a double vodka redbull, you really can't go wrong.

Risa is a good club and bar experience all round. I've mostly been on student nights, where it is full of like-minded students up for a good time. As such, the atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. On these nights, there are usually 3 dance rooms open (R&B; Chart; Indie) but there can be up to 5 (Dance; Cheese). Song requests are usually played which is a plus!

Drinks are, as with most places, expensive if you stray beyond the night's promotions, but they usually have a good selection of drinks on offer, which makes it a very cheap night! Entry is £4 now, but you can book tickets online to save possible disappointment (not strictly necessary; sometimes the queues are much shorter if you buy on the door too, just get there in time!)
