Cadbury World

Reviews for Cadbury World

If you fancy a fun day out, it's the ideal place to go with friends, or as a family with children.
The tour is interesting and at points, even hands on- they encourage you to try writing with liquid chocolate and more in the demonstration area. If you do the 'Essence' tour, you even create your own chocolate!
It's especially great for kids, as there's loads to do.. a highlight being the 'magical bean tour', which is a slightly warped version of Disney's 'It's a Small World'.. with dancing cocoa beans! Hilarious!
At the end of the tour, there's the fantastic Cadbury shop with prices lower than you'll find anywhere. The 'factory' shop has even lower prices with its special 'factory' offers! Brilliant!

If you like seeing how thing work, or chocolate (I'm not sure one can merely like chocolate though) or both, head down now. The entry price may have risen but the chocolate's still flowing and cooking inside, with some interesting info on the history of chocolate, hands on views of real production lines, and other activities for kids, I'd recommend this for kids or tourists at least once.

Cadburys World is a great place to vist especially if you adore Chocolate.
I went with my 2 children who have not been before and we had a wonderful time.
There is lot's to do and see for all ages from a vist to the Aztec Forest where you can sample some cocoa & chilli drink to the Cadbury story & the Chocolate Making section where you are showed the various ingredients and can watch chocolates being made.Plus there is loads more to enjoy.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and make sure you are enjoying the Cadburys experience.
There is a lovely Cafe that serves up nice lunches/snacks.
& There is the Cadbury shop where you can buy as much chocolate you can carry home at great prices.
I would recommend Cadburys world to anyone with a passion for chocolate.

Learn the full story of where Cadbury chocolate came from, and how it's made in this interactive experience the kids will love! When you enter the working factory, you will first go through a 'grotto' styled area which tells the history of chocolate as far back as the Azteks. Then onto a couple a short films about the Cadbury family, and a fun one about the modern day production of Cadbury chocolate. There is a 3D display, and opportunities to make chocolate contraptions of your own. There is usually some sort of sampling going on in the demonstration area (the melted chocolate is a favourite with my children), and you always get enough chocolate to take home. And the price? Well, a family of 4 (under 4ys free ) can visit for £40, but an annual pass is only £104 and you may never need to buy chocolate again!
