Reviews for Thunderdome Cafe

The most disgusting place I have ever had the missfortune to have SO called food in!
Staff from other lands slinkering around in stained suits, and management talking and looking at customers...well what there were of them
The decor is like something 20 years ago and is dusty and out of date.
The so called ACTS that a[[ear are a;; has been's or karaoke backing tracked so called singers.
This is one Gol almights dump that must be avoided at all costs.
Talking of costs the pre made and re headed food (for sake of a better word) is guaranteed to ensure you will not return to this well past the sell by date.
It needs knocked down ALL staff Sacked and sent home ot back to where they belong .It meeds re built, re vamped, REAL food and service and all the out of date interior rubbish placed on the boneies at the next 12 th. July !
~Stay clear of this dump...

what a car crash of a so called restaurant. the food was just terrible and the service was worst.the people who own this place should take lessons from other local restaurants like the chester park or springsteens diner in carrickfergus

The Thunderdome Cafe could eaily be described as Northern Irelands own home grown version of the Hardrock Cafe, which bizarely has actualy been opened longer than the Belfast Hardrock Cafe was. Technically just on the outskirts of Glengormley but the site could not find that lol. This is the choice for our family birthdays, anniversary or celebration meals. The decor is fantastic lots of stuff on the walls just as it should be in a venue like this. Full size motorbikes on display, a real rally car sitting in the corner, signed boxing and other sports and movie memorabelia on the walls. the hand dryers in the toilets also have to be checked out to be believed. That may sound bizare but try them and you'll see what I mean they nearly blow the skin clean off your hands lol. Staff have always been friendly and efficient. The menu itself is very good and varied just what youy would expect from a themed restaurant. The Steak pie is especially good. Prices are reasonable and the portions are very generous.
