Reviews for Harbour View Restaurant
The Harbour View restaurant, situated right on the waterfront of the Lagan, brings the exciting theatrical style of Japanese cooking, teppanyaki, to Belfast. Upon entering, the very attentive waitress takes your coat and bag, and guides you to a very cosy set of sofas, where you can peruse the menus and order a drink. The menu is varied, consisting of mostly Chinese / Japanese dishes, but with a few European dishes added in. After ordering, you are given the option to either eat in the comfy seats, or sit up on the high chairs and experience the teppanyaki cooking style at no extra cost. This is when the chef himself comes out and cooks your meal right in front of you, on the cooking top right beside your plate. It’s a fantastic experience, and the chef usually deserves a round of applause for the show. Cooking with extreme speed and grace, your meal arrives cooked to perfection, and the quality is simply outstanding. Coupled with the view of the river, it’s a top class dining location. Unfortunately, the prices do reflect this, and the tiny desserts are priced scandalously. But overall, the food is most definitely worth it, and the Harbour View is a perfect place for you and your loved one to have a romantic meal with top quality service. The best Asian food restaurant in Belfast by miles.
