The Red Lion Knotty Green is a delightful village pub which has been at the heart of the hamlet of Knotty Green since at least 1753. Offering a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike and situated at the hub of many well-trodden ramblers' walks through the Chilterns, it's the perfect spot for a well-earned drink, superb home-cooked food, a chat and much more.

The food here is simply excellent and a visit to the pub's Enid Blyton Room - with its gallery of prints and library of books donated by the Enid Blyton Society - is a must-see. The famous children's author lived for most of her life at a house called Green Hedges nearby.
