Great innovative vegetarian cuisine
I was so impressed by this restaurant. If you are a vegetarian who is bored of mushroom risotto, this is where you need to go! And take your meat-eating friends along, they won't be disappointed!
I had the carrot, coriander & cannellini pate with walnut bread for starter - very well presented, lovely flavours and textures. For my main, I felt quite adventurous and had mexican mole, which was spicy winter veg, with brown rice and a mexican chocolate sauce. It was excellent. All the flavours and spices, Mmmm! For dessert I had chocolate tart, which I had to share with my partner because I was so full. Again wonderfully well presented, beautiful flavours, very well balanced. You can tell all the dishes are carefully created. I loved the ethic of the place too - all the wines and drinks are organic, freetrade, good for you and good for the planet. I will definately go back, and go to Bath especially to go back!
