16 George Street, Bath, BA1 2EN

The Hole In The Wall kitchen is now under the guidance of Gerry Dowd, with the menu offering modern British dining, strongly themed on West Country produce. The wine list is extensive, including several reasonably priced wines. The ambience is formal but relaxed with a large log burning fire making it ideal for a romantic evening.

Reviews for The Hole In The Wall

Yes, i thought this place was good, not excellent, not the very best in Bath but good. The restaurant is in the basement and the decor is very smart indeed, as are most of the customers. It is expensive and for the price we were paying i expected everything to be excellent but sadly it was lacking a little. Service was not always great and the food was nice but not amazing. Wine was good but again, expensive. So id say go if you fancy a change from your usualy places but there are better restaurants in Bath than this one.
