If you wanted a quiet, intimate and romantic restaurant, this may not be the restaurant for you. However, if you wanted a non-pretentious restaurant, with lots of good food, a decent price and you wanted to walk away feeling full and satisfied, you are in for a treat. Whether you pop in for a take-away or book a table, this is easily the best Turkish restaurant in Bath. The portions are generous and all food is made on the premises (including, so I am led to believe, the doner meat). The dessert menu is also impressive. It may be worth noting that there is definite meat-bias to Turkish cuisine, so vegetarians may want to investigate further before booking a table. Nevertheless, I have been there on numerous occasions and have never left disappointed. Recommended.
