A posh, comfortable, clean and relaxed pub, with the atmosphere and prices suited to a more mature clientèle. Good location in town to meet up with friends and family, although no parking nearby.
Good choice of interesting and tasty meals and snacks, with very friendly and helpful staff. Sometimes even being over considerate, interrupting your meal to see if everything is okay.

Good deals can be had if you go to their website, such as 2for1, free drinks etc.

Never very busy, so good if you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxed, perfect for a serious chat about work or relationships.

I always end up going here for a drink on any night out in Bath. The prices are reasonable, the wine is good and the food is tasty. Look out for their offers (check the website) they often do wine promos on certain days or vouchers. They have lots of special summer and xmas menus which are good and appeal to what you want each season. I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. The sharing platters are good if there are two of you dining and you can agree on the food. Cocktails are on offer but not that good so you'd be better to go to a real cocktail bar for those.
