I eat here on a regular basis when it is a birthday or anniversary with my parents. My dad who is the fussiest person on the planet always requests we go here. carvery at the weekend never fails to please. Lots of normal pub grub on the menu and lots of local produce. I had vension with black pudding last time, maybe an odd combination but it was superb. I keep telling everyone to give it a try. The weekend staff are all very young and so helpful you wouldn't believe it. They are very patient...
