The Castle is a really nice, cosy pub with a decent food menu. It attracts locals and tourists, as well as a younger crowd in the evenings. Most food and drink is reasonably priced and the service is good.

There are a variety of beers and ales available and there are a few reasonably priced wines to choose from as well.

There is a quiet atmosphere most days and early evenings, with a more noisy one on Friday and Saturday evenings.

A quality desert menu is also available, and there is a really great specials board. A nice outside area is available but the chairs are a bit uncomfortable.
