Silverblades
This is a great Ice Rink, normal prices are around £8 including skate hire, some days it's £6 including skate hire, if you have your own skates you can knock £2 off both of those prices and that's what you'll pay.
The ice rink itself is i would estimate about 100 meters long and 40 meters wide (that's a rough estimation!), and has fencing round the side that you can grip onto if your just getting used to ice skating. There are also Ice Wardens constantly skating around who will help you if you fall.
There is a small cafe which serves chips on one side of the Ice Rink, which is surrounded by vending machines which serve drinks, ice creams, sweets and Rustlers burgers, there are also several game machines.
On the other side of the Ice there are lockers which cost either 50p or £1 depending on there size, you unfortunately don't get this money back when you open the locker back up, so make sure you get everything in the locker first time.
Sessions will normally last for around 2 hours, during Summer Holidays and some weekdays/weekends there will be a Mega Skate on which lasts from 10:00 in the morning until 5 pm, this usually costs £8 including skate hire.
