    stumbled upon the cheshire cheese while out for a drink at christmas,didn't know they had re-opened,must say what a friendly atmosphere,bar staff helpful and quick,landlord and landlady are warm and friendly,what more can you ask for...
    all i can say i will be a returning customer,thanks to the friendly atmosphere which seems to be lacking in a few public houses nowdays...

    ABOUT TIME!! a great pub in Altrincham !

    Only re-opened about 5 weeks ago & under new management.
    What a difference !! not only have they re-decorated they have also transformed the beer garden.
    For all us SMOKERS out there, they have a seated patio area,under cover with heating !!! (makes a change!)
    very friendy bar staff who cant do enough for you and also speedy service!!
    ive been in a few times now and there has been a different entertainment on and ive had a great night !!
    a defo must for anyone living in sale or altrincham !!!
