I had passed this place quite a few times on Union Street before deciding to try it out with a few friends. The Restaurant is very well advertised and is famous for the guy who stands in front of it with a turban and traditional Indian dress, which is enough to turn a few head down Aberdeen Union Street. The restaurant has a reputation for winning quite a few awards but that in some ways can be easily dismissed as there can seem to be as many Indian restaurant awards as there are restaurants themselves! But Cinnamon clearly is an Indian Restaurant with a difference, and it has been thought through, which has been its success. The Service is excellent, and the food is delicious, the restaurant space is quite narrow and long which leaves it feeling a little cavernous but altogether it is a great restaurant for those who enjoy good Indian food.
