I spent one week in Gdansk at the Polish Baltic coast in October 2005.

One evening I had dinner in the Pierogarnia U Dzika. It is a Polish restaurant which specialises in Pierogi.

Pierogi are traditional Polish filled dumplings. The restaurant also serves other Polish dishes including chicken, tasty soups and of course fresh fish.

On warm days you can enjoy your meal on the outdoor terrace while watching tourists passing by. A meal including a drink will cost you about 35 Zloty (8 Euro, 2005).

Pierogarnia U Dzika is located near St. Mary's Church (Kosciol Mariacki) in ul. Piwna.
