The 3 course dinner menu is great value for money with plenty of choice. Despite the unpretentious presentation (wooden tables, no tablecloth but a good cloth napkin) the quality of the food could easily compare with much pricier eateries. The staff were attentative and very friendly. I'll definitely come here again. You rarely get that kind of quirky and innovative cooking and personal service from a chain and I was surprised to find that they have many outlets in the Netherlands.

Fantastic value, the three courses now cost E22.50 & wine starts at E17 a bottle.
It is large but fills up quickly you need to be there before 7pm. In spite of the number of diners service is swift & friendly.

Can you elaborate on your review as I cannot fault this restaurant for ambience, value for money as well as menu choice, taste.and presentation. I was taken here by a local who has fairly discerning taste in food.

I was just so impressed with this restaurant it is fairly large but divided into 3 rooms so it still gives an air of intimacy.

The decor is wonderful the furniture is dark wood with chandeliers, there is a long bar at the entrance. The part where we sat almost looked like an old pharmacy with lots of jars on display and an old library of books.

The menu is 3 courses for Euro 19.95 & the food is fantastic and extremely good value for money. The menu changes each month & do remember to book.

I had staters of spinach salad with bacon, asparagus & sundried tomatoes.
Main course was hunks of beef cooked in a hungarian sauce.
Dessert was lime key tart with cream

The restaurant is nearby the Golden Tulip Hotel.
