Nice place to stay. Pretty basic breakfast (croissant, toast, cereal, etc) was included, but plenty to get you going in the morning. The decor was rather nice all round, the room was spacious and everything was very clean. Bathroom was a tad small with a tiny bath (taking a shower or a bath wasn’t particularly easy), and the bed was a bit uncomfortable though. The staff were helpful, friendly and spoke good English.

The location’s excellent; minutes walk from the Doge’s Palace and St Mark’s Square. Plus, it’s surrounded by plenty of great places to eat and shop. Furthermore, it’s not far from several water bus stops, making getting to some of the other nearby islands a fairly simple affair.
