Terrible experience, arrogant waiters, high prices, there is a risk to drink from a dirty glass and no apologizes are delivered at all, there is a risk to be overcharged (they don't indicate cover supplement fees per person) so be ready for the surprises of any kind in this place!
Finally, they run after you outside the street alread to ask you for money - in case they dont find it in the leather book...just too afraid to give a look at the table..no trust at all. Milan is a big and very important city in Italy.. a lot of people from over the world..they could prosper long time if they would be more organized and gentle with their clients..and a bit of umilty also wouldn't be surplus.

You can eat indoors - or outdoors in the middle of the pedestrian street watching the people and the poodles parade past. From the duomo, cathedral, are grand arcades which inspired those in London.

Indoors is the patisserie and ice cream area. We sat at little round tables with fancy cloths.

Why do waiters in Italian Switzerland and Italy look insulted when you ask to see the menu? Even after you see it, even after you get the bill, most of it is still a mystery.

Our bill read panino, piatto, vino, coperto. The only things I followed were vino, subtotale, and totale. Take a dictionary.

The food was prettily presented.

Toilets are indoors and downstairs. I had just started warming up to people watching when we had to move on to the glamour of La Scala, further along the road away from the Duomo.
