The Tea Room at the Clarence
A very nice place to spend an afternoon or evening. The building itself is a very attractive, period building. The interior is beautifully decorated making the most of the original period features to create a very classically decorated, comfortable space.
The food & drinks are great. There is a selection of delicious, prettily decorated cakes, buns etc. there is also a choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc.
The staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming and the service is very fast.
The prices are also not too expensive so although not a place to go everyday, it is a worthwhile visit for the odd treat.
It is in a good area with plenty of parking so is easy to get in to at any time really. I've never had a problem with parking anyway.
