    Really cool bar

    This is a pretty standard Irish pub with a cool rather alternative vibe. Its traditional in its decor but its known for the indie/rock music it plays. They also have live gigs regularly in the back venue. Some of Irelands big stars started out in Whelans and still come back for the odd gig now and then.
