    This is a great restaurant to visit for vegetarians, it is really nice to be able to go out and spend an evening in a nice restaurant without having to worry at all about what could be in the food! A lot of things have hidden meat ingredients (i.e. chicken stock in an otherwise innocent looking vegetable soup etc!) but at least there will be no bad surprises like that here.

    the food is top quality, very nice, there is also a selection of nice drinks to choose from.

    The restaurant is situated in a very nice area as well, right near the River Lee so there is plenty of scenery to admire while you are eating your nice cruelty-free dinner!

    Considering a well-known chef runs this restaurant the prices aren't too bad, although fairly expensive, you don't need a second mortgage to eat here!

    My second favourite Vegetarian Restaurant

    Cafe Paradiso on the banks of the River Lee is a haven for vegetarians and food lovers in Ireland - not a country renowned for it's vegetarian stance ;-) This is another of those restaurants that serves amazingly good, quality, top notch food, but just happens to be vegetarian. There are also two cookbooks by the owner/chef, Dennis Cotter that are well worth tracking down - The Cafe Paradiso cookbook and Paradiso Seasons.
