Lively Local Bar & Restaurant
After a very early start that morning, and a day of sight-seeing, on our first night in Frankfurt we didn't want to venture too far from our hotel for dinner. We came across a busy place located just around the corner from our hotel, called Baseler Eck. The restaurant was full of content looking people, and we were pleased when they were able to fit us in. We did however have to share a table with two other people who spent the time laughing at us every time I took a photo of our food.
Service was pretty abrupt, though they were busy, and we seemed to be pretty much the only non-German speaking people in the restaurant. To eat I just had a Veal Schnitzel with potatoes, and Alex had Veal steak with mushrooms and pasta. The food was entirely edible, though nothing amazing.
I liked the lively atmosphere of the place though, and loved the wall that was filled with stickers - including now defunct airlines, and Smurfette, amongst others.
