The red striped awning is a beacon for hungry tourists looking for a nice spot to have breakfast in central Berlin. One of the nice features of Cafe Kranzler in Berlin is that it has a terrace running around the restaurant.
Breakfast buffets are not for everyone and I'm not usually a huge fan but it is good value and has a reasonable selection. If I'm honest the best part is really the balcony and the chance to sit out in the fresh air on a nice day. Oh and the menu is quite amusing too:
"Breakfast sideboard until 12.00. They make use to heart's content at major part speedy breakfast sideboard inclusive of a hot drink"
