Good things come in small packages
Impossibly tiny and therefore somewhat of a challenge to get a booking, La Cerisaie is well worth the effort. Hazelnut soup made great use of seasonal ingredients (I visited in February) and was rich and frothy. Pyrenean Suckling Lamb with Fois Gras was pretty much the best lamb dish I've ever tasted, and I've had a few. Finally the house chocolate pudding was so good we ordered another.
The menu is on a chalk blackboard and changes, I'm told, almost daily. If you're ever in the area and want a reasonably priced spot of regional French cooking, you can do no better.
