Our two daughters had visited this place and said we HAD to go, so we did. The waiter and chef both welcomed us and spoke with us before and after dining. Both were very friendly, spoke a little English and put up with our very poor French as we talked and asked about the menu items. Our two daughters had visited this place and said we HAD to go, so we did. The waiter and chef both welcomed us and spoke with us before and after dining. Both were very friendly, spoke a little English and put up with our very poor French as we talked and asked about the menu items. The ambiance was delightful and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. Arrive early (before 20:00) to get seating among the 20 chairs. As of Oct. 3 '08, a two-course meal (entree + plate or plate + dessert) cost €19. I also had dessert and we each had two glasses of wine and coffee for a total bill of €72 or around $100 - quite a deal, even at home in Chicagoland.

Down the steps of Montmartre is La Part des Anges. If you want to go with a group of friends, do not bother. La Part des Anges has only got 12 seats.

The owner will take the order and go behind the counter to cook it! He may eventuatlly ask how you want your meat cooked or seasoned! You would then have to turn around and speak to him while he also prepares your friends main course!.

This is all the spirit of this restaurant where conviviality rhymes with tasty and friendly. Traditional french cuisine at a very affordable price.

Another great thing: you can order take-away!
