I cannot believe all the 5 star reviews about this restaurant are real! The food at this restaurant was horrible, possible the worst I've ever had. My boyfriend and I went to Paris for his birthday and went to this restaurant after reading these fantastic reviews but in reality the food was terrible. I ordered a pan-fried squid salad that came with no squid whatsoever, I think the waiter misunderstood me and brought the rocket and parmesan salad instead, which was nothing special for 9 euros...

My boyfriend and I went to Paris for his birthday and went to this restaurant after reading these fantastic reviews but in reality the food was terrible. I ordered a pan-fried squid salad that came with no squid whatsoever, I think the waiter misunderstood me and brought the rocket and parmesan salad instead, which was nothing special for 9 euros, it was the sort of thing I would knock together when I'm home and can't be bothered to cook. For our main course, we both ordered grilled steaks with roasted potatos but got soggy chips instead and the steak - oh my god - so though I chewed it over and over and had to spit it out. I never had a grilled steak before that had such an odd texture. I coudn't eat it and only had the vegetables. The bill came to 70 euros, we had 2 starters, 2 steaks and half a bottle of the cheapest wine. Overpriced and terible food, I would have cooked a better meal at home and I'm no masterchef. Don't throw your money away, avoid this place and go to a nice Breton creperie in Montparnasse instead.

We had a light and inexpensive dinner at the new french restaurant in at Paris, Montparnasse. It's called L'Auberge. Exceptional french dining. Good service from a friendly staff, high quality food and presentation are the reason this place was packed for dinner the night we attended. Try the grilled meal. L'Auberge restaurant on the Paris, Montparnasse is consistently one of our favorites. We have eaten there 3 times, all were very good.
Don’t miss the grilled meal. Food is outstanding. The restaurant is perfectly ! The wines are superb

too.

Delicious meal in Paris, Montparnasse. I had the Beef carpaccio with olive oil and grilled meal. It was very tender and had good flavor. The Homemade profiteroles was also excellent. Service was excellent...out of this world.

There is a good reason why this restaurant was voted Montparnasse best restaurant! The food is spectacular along with the service. We ate the various restaurants. However, none of these restaurants were even close to being in the same
league as L'Auberge. The food is priced moderately 20-30 € per meal. If you visit Paris, Montparnasse, visit L'Auberge. You will love it.

Located in Line 4 Vavin station. Had a wonderful dinner here. I had a grilled meal, Salade de saumon frais, and Vanilla meringue custard slice. All were delicious and the service was very good. It is the best place to eat while in Paris, Montparnasse.

If you want a cheap, filling, authentic lunch in Paris, montparnasse, check out L'Auberge . Tasty, authentic food
(Salade de saumon frais and grilled meal ) served in huge portions. This is one of my favourate restraurant. Having
sampled most of the other recommended restaurants, I can honestly say that the L'Auberge is head and shoulders above
the rest.

Even though your user name indicates you're from my home town, I'm a little bit suspicious of the reviews of this restaurant as they all have the same mistakes in them and all smack of an establishment trying to raise its own profile by posting good reviews of itself.

Apologies if I am wrong, but - being from Grimsby, too - I know when something smells fishy.

I agree, all 5 star reviews? Even the best restaurant in town would have the odd negative review. It looks like I'm the only one so far who posted a review after actually visiting this restaurant.

This is a great restaurant for couples wanting a quiet eveing. So if you're looking for a beautiful romantic spot to
take the Mrs. this place rules. The L'Auberge is near the Line 4 Vavin station Montparnasse metro station, Paris.
The food is also good. It is really a good place to have a drink but somewhat overpriced.

Ate at L'Auberge ! twice - both were exceptional meals with outstanding service. The atmosphere is open, light and very simple. The service is attentive and friendly but not fussy or overbearing. The grilled meal taste was truly unbelievable - visit and eat and let me know how much you enjoyed it also.

My wife and I have stayed on Paris, montparnasse for the past several years and discovered the L'Auberge early on.
Our entrees were excellent- salmon carpaccio and a delicious grilled meal and encrusted Salade de saumon frais. Cute place, good service, great food.
