Not sure why I am writing up this one time cafe pit-stop, except that it remains in my mind as a pleasant place to visit prior to, or recovering from, a Pompidou Centre visit.
The Pan au Chocolat or Croissants are heavenly (I should know as I gobbled both) but more than anything it is an interesting place to watch the world of the Place Georges Pompidou potter by. I don't think any of the other cafes were better placed.
