The Rebel House is one of those places in Toronto where only the locals go. It has a great menu and, to my taste, the best cheeseburger in the City (buffalo burger). They only carry Ontario craft brewers on tap and have about 20+ taps going. There is a charming patio out back in the summer. If you are looking to do Toronto like a local and want local food and craft beer, this is the place.
