Reviews for Ethiopia House
This one restaurant that you won't be needing them. This cozy Ethiopian House is situated in the heart of Toronto just shy off Gloucester and Yonge. Their injera bread is homemade, main courses are divided between meat or veggie options. Sorry, no seafood I'm afraid. I highly recommended the Vegetarian Platter if you are a couple or more, about $22. If you're not in a rush, you must stay for the coffee ceremony, $10, with about a 20 minute wait. Why the wait? Because they roast the coffee when you order it, they will bring incense and popcorn to your table, and the roasted coffee for you to smell it. Then returned to prepare the coffee for you. Served in traditional metal teapot and little cups. There were 3 of us, we had a veggie platter, one extra dish, a bottle of wine and coffee, it was $75 in total.
Ethiopian food that still makes my mouth water from half-way around the world!
