DesBarres Manor Inn is a great off-the-beaten-track getaway for people seeking luxury when they want to get away from it all. This bed & breakfast inn was built in 1837 for a Supreme Court justice and it has been restored to its glory days with 10 luxurious guest rooms, a fireside dining room, a parlour room for games and cocktails, expansive deck and acres of gardens. The Chef has been getting some fabulous reviews for his East Coast cuisine and he tends an organic herb and vegetable garden on the grounds. The village is quite charming and it sits at the largest bay on the Atlantic Coast so there is lots of exploring to do when you do decide to leave this beautiful manor.
